The Celtic Manor might be best known for hosting Europe’s win in the 2010 Ryder Cup, but at AluK it will also now be known for hosting the hugely successful launch of our Luminia Select Partner scheme. We held a fabulous event there on Monday, 23rd October for the fifteen of our customers who have been invited to become AluK Luminia Partners.
Alongside dinner and champagne, these customers were given a presentation from our MD Russell Yates about the AluK journey so far and what we’re planning for the future, and then they each put their signatures to giant pledge boards marking their official membership of the new scheme.
Entertainment on the night was provided by the legendary British Lions rugby player John Bentley, and he gave a very different perspective on partnership as he talked about being part of the team during the 1997 Lions tour of South Africa.
What the customers perhaps really came to see though was the brand new Luminia F82 bi-fold door which we unveiled to them the following day at our Chepstow HQ.
As Luminia partners, they have the exclusive rights to manufacture the ground breaking new F82, so there was a huge amount of interest in the presentations from Dave Prout our Channel Marketing Manager on the growth of the aluminium bi-fold market and from Dale Pegler, our Product Development Manager, on the new door itself.
The feedback from what are officially now our Luminia Select Partners was really positive, both to the product and to the innovative marketing campaign we have created to support it. This includes everything from Augmented Reality (AR) adverts to social media campaigns and lifestyle videos. These will all be hitting the market very soon.
