AluK HQ nominated for British Council for Offices [BCO] Award

We’re incredibly proud of our new 350,000 sq ft headquarters in Chepstow, and it seems we’re not the only ones.

Just a few months after it was named Workplace Design of the Year at the Insider Wales Property Awards, it has also just been shortlisted by the British Council for Offices (BCO) in its Regional Awards for 2019.

These BCO awards recognise ‘top quality design and functionality and set a benchmark for excellence in workplaces’. They particularly acknowledge innovation in design, with an emphasis on best practice, so it’s yet another tribute to the great work of the team at Rio Architects, who were responsible for realising our vision and have been shortlisted for this award.

The BCO regional judges will be visiting our headquarters in February alongside Rio Architects to see our facility for themselves and will no doubt be impressed by all the things which we know make this a really productive and healthy place to work – an open and contemporary office environment, lots of natural light, and an efficient factory layout.

This is also of course home to one of our stunning UK Design Studios showcasing our entire range of products and our brand-new Training Academy. We welcome visitors here all year round and customers, clients and industry colleagues have all been equally impressed.
