As AluK continues to expand its sales team, Ron Robertson has joined as the Area Sales Manager for the North East and East Midlands.
Ron has more than a decade of experience in retail window and door sales with one of the UK’s big national brands, so is bringing useful insight into the changing consumer home improvement market.
His immediate focus is on building and strengthening relationships with AluK’s fabrication partners and on ensuring they get real value from the wide range of technical, commercial and marketing support resources which AluK offers to its customers.
He said: “I’m really excited about making the switch into the trade market and supporting fabricators as they target new business. Even as the cost-of-living crisis bites, there are still plenty of developers and homeowners looking to invest in their properties and lots of opportunities for aluminium products especially.
“Over the past year in particular when AluK has updated virtually its entire product range to meet the new performance requirements of Part L and launched a stylish, new retail support package, it has shown that it is one of most ambitious and dynamic players in the industry.
“I’m sure there will certainly be exciting times ahead for AluK, and for our partners in both fabrication and installation.”
