Next week the fifth FIT Show will be taking place at the NEC. AluK will be there on stand E10 and we’d love to see as many customers coming to see us as possible.
When it started way back in 2013, the Fabricator & Installer Trade (FIT) Show was focused largely around PVC-U windows and doors and took place in just two halls at the Telford Exhibition Centre.
How things have changed! Six years on, it’s a really broad mix of PVC-U, aluminium, timber and glass and now occupies three of the largest halls at the NEC.
The evolution of the show is a reflection of the entire industry of course, and the fact that much of the buzz and excitement next week will come from the aluminium sector says an awful lot about how the trade has come to appreciate the opportunities which aluminium now presents.
We’ll be previewing two fantastic new products at FIT – the new AluK C70S window and the new Luminia S119LM slim sliding door, as well as hosting a technical hub where our team of experts will be giving advice to fabricators and installers on everything from fabrication to certification.
We’re also inviting all of our customers and colleagues to a 90s themed party on our stand during late night Tuesday (21 May) to celebrate our 25th anniversary in the UK, and we’re running a prize draw which will see one lucky installer win their first order of AluK products worth up to up to £10K.
There’s lots happening on our stand then but, beyond that, there are lots of other reasons why we think a day at the FIT Show will be a day well spent. The seminar programme is impressive – have a look here and there are curated New Product and Installer trails which take visitors around the key highlights. There’s even a special Skills Thursday (23 May) focused around training, during which our MD Russell Yates will be talking about routes into the industry.
If you haven’t registered for a ticket yet, do it here now and beat the queues…
