Another week, another award nomination for AluK! It is our new S67 inline sliding door in the spotlight again – this time as a finalist for the Best Glazed Door at the 2025 Build-It Awards. Having just been nominated for the Best New Product at the G-25 Awards, this is another fantastic endorsement of the S67, which is already on track to become the best-selling slider in the AluK range.
The Build-It Awards are all about the self-build market and the products that get recognised by the judges are those that combine impeccable design with genuine sustainability and ease of installation.
The fully recyclable S67 meets all those criteria – and more. Slim sightlines, an interlock of just 35mm and a low threshold option of just 22mm make it ideal for both renovations and new builds, where the emphasis is on bringing in lots of natural light and making the most of that inside/outside connection.
It is also particularly quick and easy to install because it comes pre-glazed, with sashes which are assembled around the glass in the factory. That means it can be installed by a two-person team is as little as 15 minutes, with easily adjustable rollers which achieve the perfect, effortless open and close.
By coincidence, the Build It Awards take place on the same night as the G-Awards (28 November) so it could be a very big night for our very special inline slider.
