The Milford Window Company has won AluK’s April Installation of the Month competition with a project which perfectly demonstrates the versatility of its aluminium window and door systems.
The Godalming based installer completed a stylish makeover on a 1930s property, replacing white PVC-U windows and doors with sleek grey aluminium frames fabricated by Complete Aluminium in AluK’s 58BW and 58BD systems. The homeowners wanted to update their home and make it feel more contemporary, so The Milford Window Company recommended the slimline AluK frames in Anthracite Grey along with a BSF70 bi-fold door at the rear.
AluK’s Marketing Director Sioned Webb said: “This installation shows how aluminium windows are definitely not just for new builds – they’re also the ideal replacement for white PVC-U, bringing this house bang up to date with slimmer sightlines and a fab new colour. Because the doors and windows have all been completed in our 58mm system, they complement each other perfectly.”
Milford Window Company will now join the elite group in AluK’s ‘Hall of Frame’ on the dedicated competition website at http://iotm.aluk.com/uk. They will also receive a £100 Screwfix voucher, exclusive access to an Installation of the Month digital badge to use across their website and social media channels, and an invitation to the winners’ event taking place at the end of the year.
AluK’s Installation of the Month competition for May is now open to customers. All they need to do to enter is tag the very best installation photos they post on Twitter or Facebook with the hashtag #MyExpertInstall. There is no need to register or fill in any forms and they can enter as many times as they like.
