The days when Heritage style glazing meant just steel window replacement are long gone. AluK’s Heritage system is now just as likely to feature in new build contemporary homes, extensions and architect designed renovations as it is in traditional industrial style replacements.
And while the vast majority of installations are still in traditional black, there are a growing number of AluK customers showcasing installations in bronze or even white for a fresh, new take on a Heritage style project.
That fresh take extends to AluK’s new PAS24 2022 +A1:2024 accredited fully glazed single door, which has been developed to make the Heritage platform an even more versatile solution for fabricators, installers and homeowners.
It gives AluK customers the opportunity to upsell buyers to a statement, fully glazed front or rear entrance door, with full Part Q compliance. which suites perfectly with Heritage windows, French doors and screens.
The upgraded lift-lever locking mechanism on the new single door works seamlessly with AluK's period-inspired furniture, available in matt black, antique bronze, heritage black and heritage grey, and ensures homeowners don't have to compromise authentic styling for security.
There is even now a new stepped edge transom available for the Heritage system which can be used to achieve an even more convincing steel-look appearance. This can be fitted easily across all the doors and fixed lights in the system, which has shared profiles, beads and ancillaries to make it as fabricator friendly as possible.
With sales of AluK’s Heritage system continuing to grow, the company is investing in the kind of product developments and enhancements which deliver real sales opportunities for customers.
