If the G-Awards are the Oscars of the glass and glazing industry, then AluK has both feet firmly on the red carpet, having been nominated in no less than four of this year’s categories.
Our stunning F82 bi-fold is nominated for New Product of the Year, the marketing campaign we created to support it is nominated for Promotional Campaign of the Year, and our hugely complex installation of 14,000m2 of unitised curtain walling in the 29-storey Westmark Tower in central London is nominated for Commercial Project of the Year.
What’s particularly special is that Anna Plesniar, our Quality Coordinator, has also been nominated for the industry’s Unsung Hero Award, in recognition of the amazing job she is doing managing the quality on our new paint line and FOX flash anodisation plant.
We’re proud to call ourselves Experts in Aluminium but when the wider industry recognises our expertise that obviously means a whole lot more. The entire team here are now looking forward to the Awards night itself on Friday 30 November at the Hilton Park Lane. This will be our first time at the G-Awards and, while we’re delighted just to be nominated this time, we’ve definitely got our fingers crossed that we’ll be bringing at least one trophy back home with us to Chepstow.
