The Coronavirus situation is changing by the day, and everyone at AluK is working flat out to try to maintain as normal a service as possible for as long as we can.
The plant is still operating within the strict guidelines on hygiene and social distancing and, while as many of our staff as possible are now working from home, we have created a ‘virtual AluK office’ which means we can continue to provide ongoing support and back up to customers.
There are no concerns around stock levels, lead times or deliveries, and all the feedback we have had so far from our customers is that they want us to continue with this approach to help them keep their businesses going in these extremely challenging times.
We can reassure customers then that, as long it is safe for our staff and for all of our loved ones, we are very much committed to remaining open and fully operational.
We recognise of course that we all have a social and economic responsibility to do all we can to minimise the spread of the virus and shorten the length of the outbreak. We are therefore following all government advice very closely and will keep customers and suppliers updated if we are required to make any changes.
