Hazlemere Commercial’s long term partnership with AluK helped secure the replacement window contract for Marlin House – a block of private leasehold apartments in leafy Putney.
Way back in 2015, the apartments’ Board of Directors visited AluK’s design studio with the team from Hazlemere’s specialist commercial arm to discuss the planning requirements for the building and see the AluK aluminium window options for themselves.
It was a whole decade later before they actually placed their order, but during that time Hazlemere and AluK’s partnership had gone from strength to strength - and AluK had made some significant enhancements to the AluK 58BW window system which the Board had originally chosen.
Hazlemere has now completed the fabrication and installation of 58BW HI Tilt Before Turn windows throughout Marlin House, replacing the poorly performing pivot windows which had been in place previously.
The new double glazed AluK 58BW HI windows, with U-Values of 1.4, are making a significant difference to the thermal efficiency of the apartments. And, with Approved Document F compliant trickle vents fitted, they are also improving the ventilation and comfort levels for residents.
For Hazlemere Commercial, it was another 5 star rated project, with top marks from the RLO and residents for the quality of the workmanship and the performance of the team on site.
